Yes. The MindPhone uses the SMS Backup & Restore app, which is fully supported. Select "SMS Backup & Restore" as your target in the converter and the output file will work directly on your MindPhone.

You probably tapped “Choose a file”. That button only takes the Fig’s own full-phone backup, so it says the file isn’t a Fig Backup file and nothing gets restored. Use the Messages button instead: open Settings and tap “Backup and restore”, go to the Restore tab, and tap “Messages” (under “Or restore one thing”). Then pick your file. If your backup was saved in parts, do the same for each part, in order.

They are there, the Messages app just doesn’t show them yet. Go to Settings, then Apps, then Messages, then Storage, and tap Clear storage. Clearing the cache is not enough. This only refreshes the Messages app, your messages stay safe. Open Messages and all your chats are there. If you already had messages on the Wonder, back them up first in the Wonder’s Backup app to be extra safe.

No, nothing gets erased. Restoring adds the old messages to what is already on your phone, and messages with the same person end up together in one chat, in date order. Restore apps like SMS Backup & Restore (used by the MindPhone), Fig and Pom also skip any message that is already on the phone, so nothing shows up twice.

No, your pictures, voice notes, and videos come through exactly the same. Nothing changes or gets lower quality.

You don't even need the converter for that! Fig and TAK save messages the same way, so just take your backup file and put it on the other phone. It'll work as is.

Completely safe. Everything happens right on your phone or computer, and your messages are never sent anywhere. No one can see them.

No problem. It opens even very large backups (2 GB and up). If the converted file is bigger than about 500 MB, it is saved as several smaller files that download one after another. Restore them in order, starting with part 1. For big backups, use a computer, because phones usually can't save files that big.

Not currently. This tool is designed for kosher Android phones. iPhones use a completely different backup system that is not compatible.
